From what I have read, Detente would be a good product for skin rashes or lesions like with eczema or Darier's. However, for ichthyosis, I think that Detente would be a better cleanser than a lotion. Detente contains an excellent surfactant/cleansing ingredient while also claiming to increase the anti-microbial barrier of the skin. But as a lotion, water and glycerin seem to be the only 'moisturizing' ingredients. So looking strictly at the ingredients I'm not convinced it will, *by itself*, be a suitable lotion for ichthyosis but it certainly may be a great body wash. Combined with other lotions it may work well.
Can you detail how your customer with CIE has incorporated it into her treatment regimen?
