I was on accutane for 9 years, took a 6 months break, and am now back on it. Only 10mg a day, but man does it make a difference. I was curious to know if anyone has had asthma like symptoms due to accutane. I stopped taking accutane but the symptoms didn't do away, so it probably doesn't have much to do with it. But just checking.
Thanks!

Hi Paula...

Would you mind telling me what type of Ichthyosis you have please?

How do you find the peeling, do you peel too much? Does your skin have a burning hot sensation?

I too am liking it too...except for too much peeling, and getting very painful palms and soles now...

Pauline

I have lamellar...so I peel with or without Accutane. I haven't notice painful peeling. I actually peel less with Accutane. I use the lotion Amlactin (12%) along with the 10mg of Accutane. It really works well. I am about to start using Dovenex (again) to see if that further improves my skin and T-sal (or something like that) for my scalp. I just found a new dermatologist so we are in the 'trying new things' phase....something I haven't done in a while.

Thanks for the reply!

Paula
