My last baby (sadly stillborn at 26 weeks) had collodion skin so they are worried that my current baby will have some form of Ichthyosis.
I had a separate problem of IUGR with the last baby - obviously, if that happens again, it'll be a hospital birth.
If the ultrasounds all come back fine (man, I'm making so many assumptions) and the only issue is possible ichthyosis, is there any reason that I shouldn't have a homebirth?
(Apart from the fact that I'm wondering if I'm being really mad or dumb and know that my obstetrician will not be impressed.)
Ed.: Oh, and it's been confirmed that he doesn't have x-linked as my estriol count is normal.
