hello. i have a 5 month old baby and i am thinking about waiting on some vaccinations and not giving others. chicken pox is one of the ones i am considering not giving the chicken pox vaccination, but a family friend who is a doctor suggested that kaleb's x-linked could lead to a much more severe chicken pox if he got it. to the point that it could be life threatening. does anyone have any info or first hand experience with chicken pox and x-linked? thank you.

I have 2 boys with x-link and my older son which is now 16yrs had chicken pox when he was 2 yrs old. It was a nightmare and he went through alot of pain. Then when my now 10yr old was born and he was old enough to get the chicken pox vaccine believe me we got it for him. And I have a 12 yr old daughter and she also got the shot. So if I was you I would get the shot for your son.
