I was wondering if anyone knows at what age you can start to safely experiment with creams that have urea or alpha hydroxy acid?

Our derm told us we could begin with Amlactin 12% mixed half and half with vaseline at 6 months. It seems to work really well. Do not use it more than twice a day though. You can get generic Amlactin at the H.E.B. pharmacy for $16 at Costco for $15.

Thanks for advice - i am a little hesitant to try things on such a little boy, it helps to know when others are safely trying new products.
