So I'm bored and just checking out some posts and realized I never posted what I'm having.

It's a girl!!!

I'm temporarily relieved. Of course my mind keeps circling about if my son was mis-diagnosed and it's not x-link and there's still a chance the baby girl could have it. So I try to change the subject (yes I'm argueing with my own mind) and then I worry she'll be a carrier yadda yadda. But for the most part I'm just having the most fun buying all the cute baby girl clothes. She's very calm and not kicking much. Which is making my friends mad that they can't feel her kick. I'm very uncomfortable and am not looking forward to August 9 months pregnant. My planned C-Section is August 29th. So the count down begins.

I'm getting some ultra sounds done in 3-D. I'm going to see if I can scan them to the computer and I'll post them if so. She's been looking at the ultra sound everytime so far so hopefully we get some really cool pictures.

Talk to you all soon.

I did that too. When I had the blood tests done with my third, and I said "YES< ITS A BOY!" secretly I was saying, if it's not a boy well, then what??? Anyway, ours had a penis so we knew it was XLI. Had it been a girl, I would have wondered just like you, carrier etc. At least if you stop and think about it, she has one of the best sorces of support she will ever need. She will have an uncle for her children that understand. She will have a mom that has walked in her shoes, with excellent ideas and suggestions. And, I know this is a huge jump to the future, but a wonderful understanding grandmother for her children. LOL Congrats again...how are you feeling otherwise? Do you have energy? Are you sick at all? LOL I just love comparing pregnancys..they are all so different.

<SIGH> The count down begins. Only 4 more weeks of work!!! I'm getting a baby shower this weekend and mom is coming out for a visit. So it's going to be a busy week.

I'm feeling ok. My first trimester I was very tired and sick feeling, but never had morning sickness. Now I'm just very tired. Never thought breathing would be such a conscious event. This baby is very calm compared to my son who never stopped kicking. She just pushes back every once in a awhile. It's going to be a huge difference from my hyper-active little boy to a calm little girly-girl. I'm dreading Barbie already!!!

My last ultrasound was last week. Everything is going great. She has lots of amniotic fluid and she's weighing a week bigger than she is. No one seemed to worry about her size so I'm not going to worry. Just looking forward to Maternity Leave at this point

8 more days until planned C-section!!! And boy I think she wants out. She dropped a little more than a week ago. And I had some mild contractions last Wednesday. I'm secretly wishing I go into labor early, I just want to meet my pushy little baby. But 8 days is not that far away. Maternity leave has been nice. My son's skin is looking pretty good I have to say. And it's given me some time to look for new products. I'm going to research one I found and start another post about it. It has 25% shea butter in it. It's called Peaux Seches. I'll keep you all informed. I probably won't post until I get home in September. I'll get a link for pictures. How excited you must be getting! My Jena (just born Aug 12)couldn't wait for her planned c-section (was supposed to be the 16th)and made us go to the hospital a few days early! We were in & out of the hospital before her "planned" date!

The docs & nurses at the hospital were very impressed with my healing-an upside to LI, I suppose! They asked me if I wanted to go home early (on Sunday, when I had Jena on Friday). Of course I did! I realized C-sections aren't all that bad, but I will still prefer the next one to be born "naturally"!

The only thing that got bothersome was that I had to explain my skin condition to anyone who came into the room, each nurse, the docs, the anesthesia people, etc. I joked w/ my husband that it seems almost "scary" to have to explain it and spell it to medical personnel! I was tempted to pin a little tag on my gown so I wouldn't have to explain it so often!

So...Baby Lilah Mae was born on Monday, the 29th. 7 lbs 15 oz; 20 1/2 inches. Here is a link to our picture album.

She's so precious. Very calm, only crys for diaper changes and food. She pretty much sleeps most of the time, but when she is up she likes to look around and get her feet kissed.

Big Brother is doing an awesome job. He's helping with dirty diapers, feeding and making sure her toys have been Big Brother approved.

Thanks everyone for your support.
